The 1829 Obverse Die # 3 was paired with 3 different reverse dies.
The first being the Reverse C which garners an R-2 and was christened LM-3. How ever if you come across an example with a retained cud on the reverse over IT in UNITED, you’ve found yourself a nice R-7 coin!
The next paring was with Reverse D creating LM-4, scarce at an R-3 but nice examples can be found without too much difficulty.
Lastly, Obverse 3 was paired with Reverse F, known as LM-9 and was scarce as an R-5 for many years. Over the past several years, several examples have surfaced and the marriage is now listed as an R-4.
